How do I cancel my Walter Writes AI subscription?

When you sign up for a Walter Writes AI plan, you’re subscribing to a recurring service. That means: • Your payment method gets charged automatically every month or year (depending on the plan you choose at checkout). • Payments keep going unless you cancel before your next billing date. • It’s not a one-time purchase, and you can cancel your subscription at any time.

That said, we’re sorry to see you go! Canceling is easy and only takes a minute. Here’s how:

On desktop:

Go to https://walterwrites.ai
Click “Sign In” and log in with your credentials.
Click your name in the bottom-left corner.
From the profile menu, go to Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription

On mobile:

Tap the three lines in the top-right corner
Tap My Settings
Tap Manage Subscription
Then tap Cancel Subscription

|| ⚠️ Once canceled, your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing cycle. You won’t be charged again.

Can I get a refund?

Do you offer refunds if I’m unhappy with the platform or the text?

No. Walter Writes AI is an instant-use digital service. When you humanize text with us, the processing happens right away. This is similar to buying and downloading music or ordering a custom print, there’s nothing to “return” once delivered.

Because of this, we don’t offer refunds simply for:

Not liking the results
Failing a plagiarism or AI detection test
Forgetting to cancel before renewal

When can I get a refund?

We have a refund policy for new users. To qualify for a refund:

You must request it within 3 days of signing up.
You must have used 1,500 words or less during that time.
It must be your first-ever subscription to Walter Writes AI.

When you sign up for a Walter Writes AI plan, you’re subscribing to a recurring service. That means:

Your payment method gets charged automatically every month or year (depending on your plan).
Payments keep going unless you cancel before your next billing date.
It’s not a one-time purchase. If you were charged, it means the subscription was still active at the time of renewal, and no cancellation was submitted prior to the charge.

Cancelling after the charge date doesn’t trigger a refund. If you cancel after your renewal is processed, your plan will remain active through the end of the current billing period, but you won’t be charged again.

🔍 Still seeing charges? We never charge unless the subscription is active, so if you’re seeing a charge, that means no cancellation was submitted before the charge went through. To confirm this:

What happens when I reach my word limit?

Each plan on Walter Writes AI comes with a monthly word allowance:

Starter: 10,000 words/month
Pro: 55,000 words/month
Unlimited: No limits per month

If you reach your monthly word limit, access will be paused until your next billing cycle starts.

Need more words now? You can upgrade your plan anytime and only pay a prorated amount for the rest of your current billing period.

The app isn’t loading

This usually happens due to a browser-related issue. Here are a few steps you can try that fix it in most cases:

Clear your browser cache
Try incognito/private mode
Disable browser extensions Ad blockers or script blockers can interfere with the app.
Make sure your browser is up to date
Try a different browser If one isn’t working, switching browsers can often solve the problem.

I need to resubscribe to my plan. How do I do this?

If your plan has expired or was cancelled, you can resubscribe anytime by going to Settings > Manage Subscription and selecting your preferred plan.
